Tribute to past RICSF Leaders By Miss Maureen Beason

Just as the seasons in our individual lives change, the leadership of this ministry is changing as well. It is with great honor that we pay tribute to Meg Ford and Ken Bell who have been the leaders of Rhode Island Christian Singles Fellowship Ministry since its inception.
They created this ministry because of their compassionate hearts for the needs of single people. They focused prayerfully on God's will for this ministry, serving others in love and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through worship and fellowship together.
Their lives reflect the Christian values and maturity that we all strive for. With great humility, sacrifice and guidance from the Holy Spirit, they listened to their hearts and answered the call to serve us and for that we are grateful beyond words. Their commitment to serve is contagious and their obedience to the word of God is a great encouragement and inspiration to us all.
Meg and Ken have not just been leaders of this ministry, but are leaders in multiple facets within their own church’s and communities. They are church-planters, missionaries, leaders of various ministries, deacons, elders, bible study leaders and prayer warriors all with the single focus of bringing honor to our Lord by serving Him.
What started out with only a few in this ministry has expanded immensely and what Meg and Ken started for God will continue and grow beyond measure. The abundance of fruit is evident of their Godly leadership and the growth of new godly leaders. The Bible says it better than I ever could as I quote 2 Corinthians 9:12
“This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!”
You have prayed with us and for us and we fervently pray His Face continually shine on you and guide your way in all that you do. We thank God for both of you and we wish you abundant joy and peace our dear brother and sister in Christ.
